Midwest Steel was honored to be the structural steel contractor on this important project. We worked closely with Duke Energy, General Electric and Bechtel during the design and construction phase of this target alliance contract.

This project involved a six tier high structure that was 360 feet tall that took over 150,000 man hours to complete. Besides the main structure we completed a course slag handling building as well as both the East and West Vibrating Screen structures.

Power generation projects require great experience and specialized expertise from the structural steel contractor. This is why Midwest Steel is selected to participate in these projects time and again because the entire project team knows our reputation for getting the job done right, safely and on time.
